Cut the guide

This is a handy tipp, in cars where the front end is very short, but you still want the guide to be as far forward as possible.

Using a cutting disk, cut of the slots where the braids go, as shown in the first picture.

Then, the braids need to be shortened as well. Fold them open, cut off approx. half of the brass lip, fold it back up. Done!

Now you have gained around 3-5mm guide lenght, depending on the body.
